Tori is a medical HMO at Alfred Health. She is passionate about addressing the social determinants of health, health equity and sustainable development, both within Australia and abroad.
She is a Global Shaper with the World Economic Forum and runs Action for Health, a not-for-profit focussed on urban policy and health. She is working to change how we visualise our health systems, from beyond primary and acute care to include the preventative or detrimental health effects of social and urban policy. Tori is passionate about the potential of medical students to become engaged in these issues and shape their careers around both clinical care and advocacy.
Her goal is to be an active participant in reducing inequities in health and to be engaged in doing so on multiple fronts, whether it be through clinical medicine, medical research, social policy or advocacy.
