Marion is a barrister at the Victorian Bar practicing in health, human rights, and criminal law.
Before coming to the Bar, Marion ran strategic litigation and legal reform projects for the Open Society Foundations in London and Budapest. Prior to this, she was a lawyer with the United Nations in Cambodia, investigating crimes that took place during the Khmer Rouge regime.
In Melbourne, Marion was a solicitor in the Health and Aged Care team at Russell Kennedy. She also worked for four years as an assistant psychiatric nurse while studying law.
Marion holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in law from the University of Queensland, and has lectured in public international law at the University of the South Pacific in Vanuatu.
