Tell us a bit about yourself in a sentence or two!
Thinks nothing beats a good cup of tea (milk required). Cannot function without Google (the search engine, the maps, the docs, Drive…). Loves data. A member of our team once described me as a chocolate chip cookie.
What is global health to you?
Achieving the most equitable healthcare as possible, and doing so through multidisciplinary approaches which are adapted for specific contexts – it spans from education to advocacy, and from prevention to cure. #seethespectrum
What have you been doing for GHC?
Working with an incredible group of people, some for almost 2 years! Many phone calls, Skype calls across international time zones, Facebook messages, Slack messages, and emails. Also sometimes more social catch-ups which invariably become about GHC. Especially involved in all things sponsorship and projects, but love all our porfolios!
Regarding GHC, what are you most excited for?
Everything (assuming there are no hiccups)! Also not having to hear the sound of Slack notifications for at least a few months after…
If you had a superpower, what would it be?
Being able to magically charge my phone. Or mind-reading.
You have $5 left in your wallet for the week, what do you spend it on?
Depends on the day of the week…but probably hot chips…
Do you have a superstitious habit (and what is it)?
It’s not quite superstitious, but I keep a journal and I have to write my entries in alternating colours – to the point that I have not writen in it sometimes because I had the wrong-coloured pen…
