Tell us a bit about yourself in a sentence or two!
Ultimate team spud – I forgot the dates to our conference once and nearly had the wrong dates printed on hundreds of promotional stickers. Also, I ordered pizza to an address in Sydney when I was in Adelaide.
What is global health to you?
Global health to me is about working across cultures, geographical boundaries and disciplines to break down the institutional structures and barriers that prevent people from living the healthy life they are entitled to. This means everyone needs to participate, be a global citizen and do their part to empower people and communities to take action for their health.
What have you been doing for GHC?
Watching our amazing team pull together all the elements that make GHC so amazing! Very occasionally I step in and tweak something when needed.
Regarding GHC, what are you most excited for?
To stand up on stage at opening ceremony with our team and our delegates with this incredible event we’ve been working for 2 years to put together just ahead of us.
If you could be an animal, what would you be and why?

You have $5 left in your wallet for the week, what do you spend it on?
Kettle’s mature cheddar and red onion chips.
What is your most irrational fear?
That my big toenail will get bent backward like when you hit your hand and bend a fingernail back. I sit with my toes curled against the floor when studying.
